The southern route — Cabacungan Cove, Bitaog Beach and Pagkawasan Garden Beach.

The Basilisa side is gentler than Libjo and the better first sea day. Cabacungan Cove is a crescent of white sand beneath a limestone hill; Bitaog has the clearest shallow water on the route; Pagkawasan is a long palm-backed beach with rock formations at the waterline. Shorter crossings than the northern route, which makes it the more reliable choice when the weather is uncertain.

A Dinagat-based operator running island hopping, inland heritage tours and sunset dining from Basilisa. Laaganan owns its own boats' shore logistics, shuttle vehicle and kitchen, which is why its itineraries reach places and hours that the standard day-tour circuit does not.
